Yesterday marked the first day of rehearsal (for me anyway) for the short film, "Wild Lunacy on a Wed Night." The film is being directed by Brett Parker, and is being filmed in Troy, NY. I have to say, I am loving everything about this production already. Brett is an amazing director, who takes the time to cover not only the standard notions of directing, but also taking care of his actors and their needs as well. Its so refreshing to see such a professional and well put together crew as well. The cast is fantastic, and I'm quite pleased to be working with such dedicated and hardworking actors. ![]() I hope productions like this one become the norm around the Albany county. Far too many times do I walk on set of a film, only to find out that the director just wants to take the easy way out on everything, including on how they treat their actors. Just because we are willing to work for free at the start of our career, doesn't mean the production should treat us/ show that we work for free.
